Few dishes and recipes from last week

Few dishes and recipes from last week


1 can of Tuna in brine
natural yogurt
2 tablespoons of cottage cheese
teaspoon of mustard
dried or fresh chili (optional)

Great ti eat with a salad, oat bran bread, galletes or as it is.

Enjoy


Dukan bread

8 table spoons of Oat bran

2 tablespoons of fromage frais ore natural yogurt low fat
Optional 1 tablespoon of low fat cream cheese
2 eggs whites made into peaks
Pinch salt
herbs
2 table spoons of splender or sugar substitute

mix all ingredients together then fold in the whites and bake for 15 mins or until done








Oat bran flour chop in a hand blender or with a liquidizer attachment






 Dukan friendly fish cake (healthy lifestyle ideas)

White fish
1 Chili
Oat bran or oat bran flour (check my channel for oat bran flour)
1 egg
thai seasoning
1 taespoon of curry powder
pinch of herbs, pepper and salt.

Food process or use a liquidizer attachment

Form into small patti cakes /burgers

coat in the oat bran

back for 10-15 mins until one on gas mark 5 








 Lemon diet/dukan friendly cheesecake recipe

2 eggs separated whisk whites
8 heaped tablespoons cottage cheese
2 tablespoons of low at natural yogurt
4 tablespoons of sweeter
pinch salt
1/2 small lemon and zest
4 tablespoons of custard
1 tablespoon cornflour

Blend everything with a hand blend apart from egg whites

Ad whites to the mix
Bake for 10-15 mins take out when set do not let it get too brown.

Chill for 4 hours

ENJOY

My chart updated



I just redone my Dukan chart with my new weight of 13 stone the reason was because I felt my goal wait was too low and maybe not realistic I set it to 11 stone anything lower I reach is a bonus....

I am still pm p&v day but I wanted to look at 11 stone rather than 10.8 stone if I get lower that 11stone I of course will be even more happy.

My thoughts today 25th of Jan 2012


I am thankful for seeing the light, never doubt what the lord shows you in the light and the dark.
Everything in life happens for a reason, if there was no bad how would you know what was good?
If there were no tears how could you truly appreciate a smile, happiness?
I choose not to dwell on the past but to enter my future.
I choose not to ask why? But to understand god has a plan for me.

Dukan diet cruise phase day 6

Weight: 183.2lbs

Breakfast: Two eggs and two chicken sausages
Lunch: eggs beef sausages, oatbran pancake
Dinner: Oatbran porridge , tuna and cottage cheese mix
Snack: Total 0% greek yogurt

I made lovey tuna mix and ate it with my oatbran savory pancake

This can be eaten on its own or with Dukan bread, pancakes or salad.

Recipe

Tin tuna
cottage cheese
spring onion
natural fat free greek yogurt
chilli (optional)
herbs
salt
pepper

Mix these together to your liking.

Today p&p breakfast (cruise phase day 5)

This morning I just had to share my breakfast from my iphone....
Good start today galette pancakes with a twist.

1 and a half Table spoon of non fat fromage frais.
1 and a half spoonfuls of oat bran.
1 egg
1 tablespoon of low fat cheddar
Pinch of herbs
Pinch of salt and black pepper
Mix fry on each side for 1 and a half mins

Yum I had mine with a cheese omelette on a protein only day but with cooked tomato and mushrooms or sausages even better...




Dukan diet day 4 (Attack Phase)

Weight 185.2 13stone 2 pounds


Break fast

2 yolk 3 white omelet with a spoonful of low fat cream cheese

Lunch
nothing (late breakfast so still full up)

Dinner
spicy meat balls (homemade)
Chicken tikka
yogurt and mint sauce

Low fat yogurt



Krispie treats oh dear oh dear

Krispie treats oh dear oh dear why oh why must a lovely time making krispie treats with the kiddies turn in to a taste then a square or two.

I have not done to well with discipline this week at all have I?

Well today I had to weigh and check phew my weight is the same 184lbs today I start 5 days of p&p..

Yesterday I did turbo jam fat blast and I worked up a sweat feel good for it I will try and commit to a work out 5 days a week and walking 5 days a week.

Work out dvd, gym, exercise class, walking, weights, stepper,yoga, wii fitness games and Pilates.

Hi all,

So yes I reached cruz phase but as I entered this stage I realized that I had hit a brick wall.

As the diet and book would suggest the 1st week of cruz phase can lead to no weight shift or a slight weight gain.

Well I did not gain but I have not lost anything in 4 days and I am real ticked off about it ;0(

Well patience I guess hang in there but as we took the children out shopping we ended up grabbing a take away due to time..
I was being so good until I smelled the chips with vinegar I thought one will not hurt.
OK one more oh dear I ate a saucer full and felt so guilty.

I woke and weighed phew I was at my same weight did not lose but did not gain.

I have now decided rather than doing p+p and p+v days 1 on 1 as I had started doing.

I will do the 5 days P+P days and  P+V 5 days this should get me better results and I prefer it as I start that today and in away it is like a attack week now which should clear off my naughty eating of the week. I will finish the next few days as a p&v day as I bought a few veggies then from Tuesday p&p starts for 5 days..

Also how will I avoided naughty eating when out and hungry this is so hard before I carried fruit but now??
I may have no choice but to buy some protein bars.

Oh I also bought a Lateral thigh trainer for those moments in front of the TV much better than my stepper was love it.

A little about my previous weight

 I used to weigh around 10.12 when in my 20's then after my first child my average around 12 stone .
After having my second child and going through some personal emotional things this is when my weight got out of control.

I weighed at my heaviest 201.6 pounds/ 14.4 stone I realized that it was making me very un happy as I never weighed so much until I let my self go.

November last year I got on with my healthier lifestyle and now the journey continues.
I eliminated the things that made me lose my way from my life the negative energy.


My goal weight is 11 stone anything below this is a bonus and I intend on keeping the weight of hence me eating well and exercising.

My children keep me young and on my toes and I am so thankful for my blessings.

Today is the day I have lost one stone in my journey...

I am sooooo happy now for another 2 stone to vanish

That is from  85.36 kg  to  83.46 kg / 188.2-184lbs LOST!!




1.9 kilograms lost = 4.1 lost

Today I am very bored of just eating eggs and chicken (not too keen on red meat) so much I have decided to think in advance about my Dukan dishes and get more creative with my (Attack Phase) ingredients.

Because there is not much variety at this stage you can get bogged down with cooking large batches of the same type of dish then eating and becoming bored.

I have planned today to make mince meatballs baked in the oven with a low fat yogurt and mint dip for lunch and for dinner I am going to cook chicken tikka with my low fat yogurt and spices and more of the mint dip on the side.
I will also grab some more fish this week.

I will post the pictures later today and update the recipe section later this week also please keep an eye out for my updated vlog on yuoutube this week..

Day 2:

Away on Saturday until Sunday afternoon..... Ate well 2 eggs fish chicken, oat bran, oat bran pancakes and a little red meat......


Day 3:

All is going well I have been good whilst away for the weekend.

I have not been able to weigh myself or workout but I will tomorrow morning.

Breakfast:
boiled eggs
oatbran pancakes

Lunch:
2 pieces of chicken

Dinner:
1 x chicken
a small portion of beef

Snacks:
Scrambled egg whites
yogurt
oatbran

Lavender oil

Lavender is the best I have not been sleeping well when this happens I always go and buy some lavender oil...

A few drops on mine and the kiddies pillows works a treat and we always get the best nights sleep...

Day 1

Today is day one of my Dukan diet I am so excited I started stocking up yesterday on Meat fish and oat bran, and today I bought eggs, water and gum.

Weight today 188.2 13/01/12, I will update as often as I can this week.

Breakfast 2 scrambled eggs a little frying salmon
Lunch one LARGE steak with 5 spice.
Dinner 2 pieces of skinless jerk chicken
Snack 2 pieces of chicken

Workout: Weights cardio on trampoline, sit ups and interval training 45 mins

Noticed this week that all my regular items of shopping have gone up loads!!!!
I am not impressed at all, they keep this up and in a few more years the simple things will be a luxury....
The travel rates and petrol rises are costly too and yet the travel system is still a big joke....

I have been suffering with back pain since my 2nd son. As I still pick him up from time to time it is getting worse. I keep stretching and popping my back but it does not seem to stay away.
Well I heard about acupressure so I looked it up on youtube and I found this and it works a treat. I just had to share.

Recipe for a jug

Half a carton of soya milk or semi skimmed milk
2 x bananas  
one tablespoons of honey
1 cup of frozen or fresh berries
3 tablespoons of natural low fat yogurt
use a hand blender or a liquidizer blend until smooth.
add more soya/milk if needed or a little fruit juice to thin out how you desire
2/3  tablespoons of oats (fold this in at the end) DO NOT BLEND

No Dieting or Going to the Gym

1. Laugh! That's right, laughing is a great way to burn calories and have fun at the same time. In fact, laughing for just 15 minutes a day can burn 50 calories! That is the equivalent of 5 lbs a year. The easiest ways to laugh are hanging out with friends or watching TV. If you watch an hour long show every day and laugh for half of it, you can get rid of 10 lbs every year. Laughter is certainly number one on my list as it is easy to do and a lot of fun. Plus it allows your mind to stray from food.
2. Suck in your stomach! If you want to burn some calories and develop those abs you have always wanted, sucking in your stomach is the way to go. It is easy to do. While it may result in initial discomfort, sucking in your stomach does not have any harmful side-effects, and you will get used to it in no time.
3. Take a cold shower! When I first heard that taking a cold shower was a good way to burn some extra calories, I did not believe it. However, after doing some research on various websites, I discovered that taking a cold shower does actually burn calories. Why? The answer is simple. Your body is constantly trying to keep about a 97 degree temperature. Therefore, it has to work extra hard to do this when you are cold. All this work results in the burning of calories and can certainly aid in your weight loss effort.
4. Skip stairs! This is something that is easy and very effective. When walking up the stairs, just step on every other one, skipping the one between. This strengthens many muscles in your legs and burns many calories as well. If you walk up stairs a lot, you should definitely ry this.
5. Drink a glass of cold water! Before you go walking somewhere, drink up a glass of nice, cold water. Just like taking a cold shower, the cold water forces your body to warm up burning calories all the while.
6. Shake your legs! This one is a little strange, but works very well. While you are stationary (in an office chair, at home, etc.), try shaking your legs. This simple and easy excercise will have you burning 100s of extra calories every day. In fact, if you do it every day you will stop noticing that you are even doing it.
7. Stand on your tip-toes. While in the shower, brushing your teeth, or combing your hair, try standing on your tip-toes. This will burn a lot of calories if you do it daily.
8. Sleep a lot! The more you sleep, the more you burn. If you have nothing to do and are feeling a little drowsy, then take a nap. When you wake up, you will feel great, and you will burn up to 50% more calories. Plus, sleeping is very good for your heart and can dramatically reduce the risk of heart disease.
9. Chew gum! Go buy some sugar-free gum and begin chewing. This will burn about 10 calories an hour and will strengthen your job. Plus, it will leave your breath smelling minty-fresh!
10. Drink green tea! While I have never tried it, drinking green tea supposedly increases your metabolism meaning you will burn a lot more calories every day.
If you just follow these 10 simple steps they will become habits. You won't even realize that you are doing it, and you will be burning 100s of calories every day. In fact, you could potentially burn more than 30lbs a year! Thanks for reading my hub, and good luck getting and/or staying in shape!
